Tailed Beasts: Son Goku The Four Tails

Seiten Taisei Son Gokū, more commonly known as Son Gokū or simply the Four-Tails, is one of the nine tailed beasts. It was last sealed within Rōshi of Iwagakure.

Background

In the past, a powerful figure named Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki created Son Gokū and the other tailed beasts by splitting the energy of the Ten-Tails into separate beings. Hagoromo told the young beasts that they were connected, and that one day they would reunite and discover true power. Before he passed away, Hagoromo sent Son Gokū to live in a temple for protection, and later Son moved to a place called the Water Screen Cave, where he ruled over monkeys. During the First Shinobi World War, Hashirama Senju captured eight of the tailed beasts and traded Son Gokū and Kokuō to Iwagakure for friendship and power balance. Eventually, Son Gokū ended up sealed within Rōshi, who left his village on a journey to understand and control the tailed beast better.

Personality

Son Gokū, the proud tailed beast, strongly dislikes being called the "Four-Tails" and proudly talks about its ancestry. It holds a deep grudge against humans because they enslaved it and believes that apes are smarter than humans. However, it shows great respect for the Sage of Six Paths and treasures his final words, suggesting a close relationship. Son Gokū develops a fondness for Naruto Uzumaki, appreciating his efforts to save it from control. It even shares some of its chakra with Naruto before being sealed away. Son Gokū treats other tailed beasts respectfully, addressing them by their names, like Kurama. It also holds high regard for those who show respect to the tailed beasts.

Abilities

Son Gokū, being a tailed beast, has a vast amount of chakra and the ability to unleash a powerful attack called the Tailed Beast Ball. Despite its size, Son Gokū is surprisingly agile and skilled in taijutsu, using well-timed kicks to attack its enemies. It possesses tremendous physical strength, effortlessly lifting and throwing Gyūki.

Son Gokū possesses the unique ability to combine Fire and Earth Release, enabling it to utilize a special form of ninjutsu called Lava Release. This allows Son Gokū to create volcanoes and, although not shown in the story, it has the potential to breathe a stream of green-colored fire.
