Kage: Mu The Second Tsuchikage

Mū, the Second Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, was famous for being known as the "Non-Person" because he had a unique ability that made him invisible to others. He didn't have a physical body or any detectable chakra energy.

Background

Before the First Shinobi World War, Mū and Ōnoki met with Madara Uchiha after their villages formed an alliance. However, Madara arrogantly stated that Konohagakure would be the dominant power and everyone should follow its orders. This led to a battle where Mū and Ōnoki were defeated. Mū later attended the first Five Kage Summit with the First Tsuchikage. He played a supportive role while observing the proceedings. During his time as the Second Tsuchikage, Iwagakure actively sought to capture more tailed beasts. Mū taught Ōnoki how to use Dust Release, and he had a deep animosity towards Gengetsu Hōzuki. Eventually, Mū and Gengetsu killed each other in their final clash.

Personality

Mū remained calm and composed even after being reincarnated. He politely explained past events to the other Kage when they were summoned forcefully and showed no animosity towards the one he killed and was killed by. However, he displayed anger towards the Second Mizukage in the anime and threatened him. Mū prioritized the prosperity of his village, Iwagakure, above all else, even encouraging his disciple to take advantage of any post-war situation to ensure Iwagakure's dominance. He was known for his underhanded tactics, which contributed to Iwa's negative reputation. However, before returning to the afterlife, Mū had a change of heart and recognized the importance of securing the future of the Allied Shinobi Forces. Despite being controlled, Mū tried to assist the Allied Shinobi Forces, but his warning about splitting into halves didn't reach his successor, Ōnoki.

Abilities

Mū, the Second Tsuchikage, possessed incredible power as a shinobi. He had the ability to defeat the Second Mizukage, although it resulted in his own demise. Before becoming the Tsuchikage, Mū served as the bodyguard of his predecessor.

Sensory Perception

Mū had advanced sensing abilities as a shinobi. He could detect chakra from long distances, recognize the similarities between chakra signatures of family members, and differentiate chakra from different groups. His quick reflexes, combined with his sensing skills, allowed him to evade techniques that were challenging for other Kage, even when attacked from unexpected angles.

Ninjutsu

Mū had the ability to divide himself into two copies to avoid a deadly attack, but this reduced his overall strength by half. He possessed great physical strength, as he could lift large rocks off his body even when injured. Additionally, Mū was skilled in swordsmanship, as he was often seen carrying a pair of swords.

Nature Transformation

Mū had exceptional abilities as a shinobi. He had mastery over all five elemental nature transformations, which was a rare feat. He possessed a unique and powerful kekkei genkai called Dust Release, which allowed him to combine fire, earth, and wind to disintegrate his opponents at a molecular level. The Allied Shinobi Forces recognized his immense power and summoned Ōnoki specifically to counter him. Mū's skills with Dust Release made him confident in facing large numbers of enemies, as his techniques were highly destructive. He could also use Earth Release to make himself light enough to fly and Water Release to conceal his presence completely. This made him known as the "Non-Person" because he had no physical form or detectable chakra while using these techniques. Additionally, Mū had the ability to use Yang Release, further showcasing his versatility.

Intelligence

Mū displayed remarkable knowledge and analytical skills. He quickly figured out the precise technique used to locate his position, even without prior information about it. He also understood the inner workings of his rival's Steaming Danger Tyranny technique and shared that knowledge with his student, as later speculated by the Second Mizukage.
