Seven Ninja Swordsmen of The Mist: Fuguki Suikazan

Fuguki Suikazan was a jōnin from Kirigakure and a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.

Background

Fuguki became a jōnin and joined the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, where he obtained the Samehada sword. During a confrontation with a team of Konoha shinobi, Might Duy sacrificed himself to protect his comrades, defeating four of Fuguki's allies. Fuguki later assigned Kisame Hoshigaki as a bodyguard in the Cypher Division, with the instruction to prioritize protecting important codes over the lives of their comrades. When faced with the risk of their capture, Kisame chose to kill his own teammates to prevent the information from being compromised. It was later revealed that Fuguki was secretly sharing information with the enemy, leading Kisame to kill him. Kisame then claimed Samehada for himself and became a member of the Seven Swordsmen, serving Yagura and assisting Madara Uchiha.

Personality

Fuguki had a belief that safeguarding crucial intelligence was more valuable than the lives of his comrades. He imparted this perspective to Kisame, instructing him to do whatever it takes to prevent the enemy from obtaining sensitive information about their village. However, ironically, Fuguki himself betrayed the village by selling information to the enemies, contradicting his own belief and making him a hypocrite. As a consequence of his betrayal and a momentary lapse in vigilance during a meeting, Fuguki met his demise at the hands of Kisame.

Abilities

Fuguki, as one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, was one of the strongest shinobi from Kirigakure. Like his fellow swordsmen, he possessed the ability to use Silent Killing, which he demonstrated during a battle with the Third Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces while under the influence of Zabuza Momochi's Hiding in Mist Technique. Despite his bulky appearance, Fuguki displayed impressive stealth skills. He could also manipulate his hair, either hardening it to shoot sharp senbon-like projectiles or extending it to create spear-like hair to attack multiple enemies at once. Fuguki wielded the terrifying sword Samehada, known as the most fearsome of the seven blades, which allowed him to absorb chakra from his opponents. He likely had a large chakra reserve to satisfy the sword's hunger for chakra.
