Tailed Beasts: Matatabi The Two Tails

Matatabi, also called the Two-Tails, is one of the nine powerful creatures known as tailed beasts. It used to be sealed inside Yugito Nii, who belonged to the Kumogakure village.

Background

Matatabi and the other tailed beasts were created long ago by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, who divided the power of the Ten-Tails into nine separate beings. Even though they were separated, Hagoromo told the tailed beasts that they were connected and that one day they would reunite in a different way. He also said that someone would come to show them true power. Before he died, Hagoromo sent Matatabi to live in a temple for protection. Later, Hashirama Senju captured eight of the tailed beasts and gave Matatabi and Gyūki to Kumogakure as a symbol of friendship. However, war broke out, and Matatabi ended up being sealed within Yugito Nii when she was very young. She had to undergo tough training to control Matatabi's power.

Personality

Matatabi, unlike many other tailed beasts, is known for being polite and respectful towards others. It speaks in a formal way, referring to itself as "watashi" and using honorifics when talking to Naruto, showing proper manners and respect when introducing itself to the young ninja.

Abilities

Matatabi, being a tailed beast, possesses a vast amount of chakra that it can share with others and can unleash a powerful attack called the Tailed Beast Ball. It has the ability to use Fire Release and can lend this power to its jinchūriki, enabling them to create fireballs. Despite its large size, Matatabi has flexible muscles that grant it remarkable speed. Its sheer strength is capable of crushing opponents or sending them flying with just a single swipe of its paw. When combined with the tails of other tailed beasts, Matatabi's power can shatter and completely destroy a senjutsu-enhanced complete Susanoo.
