Akatsuki: Tobi a.k.a Guruguru

Tobi, also known as Guruguru, had a swirling pattern on his face and was a victim of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Obito Uchiha gave him the nickname Guruguru. Later, Black Zetsu rescued Tobi from the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

Background

Tobi was originally a human trapped by Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's Infinite Tsukuyomi and connected to the God Tree for many years until he transformed. He was then imprisoned in the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, which was later summoned by Madara Uchiha. Tobi, along with White Zetsu, became friends with Obito Uchiha and annoyed him by teasing and playing pranks. Tobi offered to help Obito escape when he wanted to save Kakashi and Rin from danger. Tobi attached himself to a living clone of Hashirama and used its power to break through a rock barrier. He guided Obito and revealed that his artificial body granted him access to Hashirama's DNA, which could awaken special abilities. When Obito witnessed Rin's death, Tobi witnessed Obito's intense grief and rage as he slaughtered their enemies. Tobi remained by Obito's side as they traveled to Amegakure and encountered the Ame Orphans.

Personality

Tobi initially enjoyed teasing and playing pranks on Obito, but they eventually became friends. Tobi supports the Eye of the Moon Plan and admires Madara. He has a kind heart and helped Obito without Madara's permission. Tobi is curious about bodily functions, including feces. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Tobi became more serious like Obito, but still had a strange fascination with human bowel movements. He also showed sadistic tendencies and found pleasure in taking lives.

Abilities

Tobi was a secret ally of Madara Uchiha who stayed hidden until Obito used him against the shinobi from Kirigakure. In the Fourth Shinobi World War, Tobi reappeared with advanced abilities, thanks to having Yamato inside him. He became powerful enough to fight thousands of members from the Allied Shinobi Forces, including four Kage, all at once.

Body Structure

Tobi possessed similar abilities to White Zetsu, including the Mayfly technique. Tobi and White Zetsu claimed to have superior vocabularies and intelligence compared to humans. Like White Zetsu, Tobi could survive without food, water, or the need for normal bodily functions. Tobi demonstrated the ability to open up his upper body and use it as a protective suit. By attaching himself to Hashirama's artificial body and utilizing the power of the Demonic Statue, Tobi greatly enhanced his strength and durability. He could withstand attacks with minimal damage and quickly recover from the effects of a cursed seal. Even when temporarily paralyzed, Tobi could still control chakra and utilize activated techniques.

Nature Transformation

Tobi had genetic material that closely resembled Hashirama's, granting him access to Wood Release abilities, although not as powerful as Hashirama himself. He knew various Wood Release techniques and could recognize when Obito used the Wood Release: Cutting Technique. In the Fourth Great Shinobi War, Tobi utilized Yamato's abilities to greatly enhance his own. He fought against multiple Kage and a large number of Allied Shinobi Forces alone. Tobi could create a massive wooden statue capable of performing techniques from all five elemental nature transformations simultaneously. Additionally, he could unleash devastating attacks using the thousand arms of the wooden statue.
