Kage: A The Third Raikage

A was the Third Raikage of Kumogakure, renowned to be the greatest Raikage the village has ever had.

Background

A's time as the Third Raikage was marked by frequent attacks from the Eight-Tails, a powerful creature. Despite the danger it posed, A couldn't get rid of it because it was a valuable asset in war. He had to find new hosts for the Eight-Tails whenever it went berserk. During one of these attacks, A fought the Eight-Tails alone, sacrificing himself to protect his comrades. He suffered a wound that brought him great shame. From then on, he dedicated himself to stopping the Eight-Tails whenever it lost control, even involving his son. He sealed the Eight-Tails in someone else, resulting in his nephew's death. A also conducted try-outs to find a partner for his son and was relieved when they finally found a suitable candidate. With Killer B as the new host, the Eight-Tails' rampages finally stopped. A also mentored Darui and possessed incredible strength and endurance. He died in battle during the Third Shinobi World War, and his son succeeded him as the Raikage.

Personality

A is a calm and honorable person who values loyalty and protecting his comrades. He strongly opposes any actions that could harm the Allied Shinobi Forces and takes pride in maintaining the alliance. He is caring and selfless, often putting himself in danger to shield others. His son respects him deeply and doesn't question his father's scars to honor his pride. A believes in the potential of the younger generation to surpass their parents and defeat any adversaries, even if it means fighting against their own village. He is dedicated to his village's well-being, personally dealing with the Eight-Tails' rampages and even facing a massive enemy force alone to ensure his comrades' safety. He also admires skilled ninja and praises others for their achievements, like congratulating the Fourth Kazekage for his strong son.

Abilities

A was an incredibly strong shinobi and is widely regarded as the greatest Raikage of Kumogakure. He had the ability to take on an entire army of ten thousand ninja by himself, and he even fought against a tailed beast and held it back. The Eight-Tails itself praised A for his strength and endurance.

Physical and Chakra Prowess

Similar to his son, A was highly skilled in taijutsu, capable of defeating multiple shinobi with a single move. He possessed incredible speed and strength, able to evade Naruto's fast attacks and send a rubber ball flying with a powerful punch. However, A's most notable attribute was his incredibly durable body, earning him the title of the "strongest shield." He could withstand various techniques and shrug off damage, with even Wind Release techniques causing only minimal harm. A's chakra reserves were immense, allowing him to seal the Eight-Tails after its destructive rampages. He had exceptional stamina, able to fight continuously for three days and nights before eventually collapsing, a feat that most shinobi could only achieve with the help of enhancing drugs.

Nature Transformation

A had expertise in three types of nature transformations: Lightning, Fire, and Earth Release. His Lightning Release skills were particularly remarkable, and he was known for his unique technique called Black Lightning. A was so skilled in this technique that he passed his knowledge on to Darui. Similar to his son, A could activate the Lightning Release Chakra Mode, enhancing his physical abilities and taijutsu skills. According to Dodai, only powerful long-range Wind Release attacks had a chance of penetrating this defense. A had a technique similar to Chidori, where he concentrated lightning chakra into his fingers, creating a piercing effect. He could increase its power by reducing the number of fingers used. This technique was incredibly sharp and allowed him to penetrate even rubber surfaces that were resistant to electricity. Dodai considered it A's strongest ninjutsu, calling it the "strongest spear." With this technique, A could sever all of Gyūki's tails at once and even pierce his own remarkably durable body.
