Seven Ninja Swordsmen of The Mist: Jinpachi Munashi

Jinpachi Munashi was a jōnin from Kirigakure and a member of the previous generation of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.

Background

According to Kakashi Hatake in the anime, Jinpachi was a very cruel person and did many terrible things during his life. One of those things was killing his own older brother.

Personality

In the anime, Jinpachi and his swordsmen teammates enjoyed killing and took pleasure in attacking many shinobi. They were known for their cruelty, with Jinpachi even killing his own brother. Jinpachi didn't like anyone other than the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist using their swords, and he was determined to take Kubikiribōchō from Kakashi. He often argued with his fellow comrade Kushimaru Kuriarare. Jinpachi showed no concern for his comrade's safety and would use explosive techniques, even if it hurt his comrade. Because of their collective cruelty, they were given the nickname "Heartless Pair" by Kakashi.

Abilities

Jinpachi, one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, was a very strong shinobi from Kirigakure. His generation of swordsmen was considered the strongest in the village's history. Jinpachi was also skilled in using the Silent Killing technique.

Kenjutsu

Jinpachi, using the special blastsword Shibuki, combines his expert sword skills with powerful explosions. The sword has explosive tags attached to it, which can be detonated and replaced for consecutive attacks. However, there is a risk of Jinpachi being caught in the blast, but he is skilled enough to avoid it. In the anime, it is shown that Jinpachi can create long-range explosions and even blow up a large area when cornered by Might Guy and Kakashi Hatake, surprising Kushimaru. However, he was interrupted before performing this technique by reinforcements. Jinpachi also displays great strength, effortlessly pushing back three shinobi who tried to block his sword swing with just one hand.
