Iwagakure Kinjutsu

This technique enables the user to infuse chakra into materials, granting them the ability to shape, animate, and control objects from a distance. The user can also adjust the size of the object, making it tiny or enormous. By infusing chakra into an object, it can serve as a focal point for a technique. Deidara acquired this technique and combined it with his Explosion Release kekkei genkai to infuse explosive chakra into clay, creating his unique Explosive Clay. A fabricated being called Sekiei was also given this technique and the nature transformation to employ it in a similar manner.

Explosive Clay

Deidara believes that true "art" is when something with a form is destroyed. To apply this belief in combat, he learned a forbidden technique that allows him to infuse chakra into materials. Deidara uses clay and feeds it to the mouths on his body, shaping them into explosives. The power and type of explosion depend on the chakra he applies to the clay. The quality of the clay is important, as inferior clays won't take the desired form or have impressive detonation. Deidara can enlarge the explosives and control them remotely. To detonate the clay, he uses a specific hand seal and says "katsu."

C1

The user of the clay can shape it into different forms, like animals and insects. They can create large figures that they can ride on and fly in the air. These clay creatures can also have special abilities based on the creatures they resemble. For example, if they make a bird-shaped clay, it can actually fly. This makes them great for secret missions. Additionally, these clay figures can explode, although they are not as powerful as the user's other bombs, they still get the job done effectively.

Explosive Clay Dolls

Deidara creates explosive clay figures by releasing clay from his hands. These figures have a distorted human-like appearance and are used for close combat against his opponents. Their unique structure allows them to stretch their body parts and resist normal cutting attacks, although lightning-infused strikes can still harm them. If a clay figure loses a body part, Deidara can attach a clay cord and form a new figure. Since the figures are made of explosive clay, Deidara can also detonate them at any time during the fight.

C2

Deidara has a special technique where he uses both of his palm mouths to create a big dragon. This dragon can fly, and while Deidara rides on its back, the dragon can release smaller clay figures that act like guided missiles to attack the enemy. These small clay figures look like a mini version of the dragon but are still bigger than a normal person. They can track their target and explode when they hit them. However, creating these figures requires clay from the original dragon, starting from its tail and then from other important parts like its body or wings. By using more clay, the size and explosive power of the missiles can be increased.

Explosive Landmines

Once Deidara creates the C2 Dragon, he uses it to generate several clay mines. His partner then buries these mines underground, making them hidden traps. When someone unknowingly steps on these landmines, they automatically explode. Deidara does not have direct control over these mines, as they detonate independently upon contact.

C3

Deidara has a really strong bomb called the "C3," which is a huge statue. He drops it from above onto his target. This bomb is so powerful that it could destroy an entire village. Deidara prepares the explosive clay beforehand and activates it when he wants to use the bomb. Once activated, the bomb quickly grows in size and its "arms" stretch out horizontally before it is dropped on the target.

C4

Deidara has a special technique where he uses his own mouth instead of the ones on his hands to create a huge doll that looks like him. When the doll breaks, it releases tiny bombs that become like a cloud and enter the bloodstream of anyone who breathes them in. Deidara can make these micro-bombs explode with a command, causing the victims' bodies to disintegrate at a cellular level, turning them into dust.

C0

Deidara has a powerful technique called C0, which is his strongest form of explosive clay. He uses it as a last resort because it's a suicide-bomb technique. To activate C0, Deidara opens up a stitched mouth on his chest and puts a big ball of clay inside it. The mouth is directly connected to his heart, so it gathers a lot of chakra from there. The chakra then flows through his veins, forming a sphere that eventually cracks and explodes. This explosion is different from others and can cover a blast radius of ten kilometers.

Clay Clone

Deidara has a special technique that is very useful. It's a clone made of clay and has a unique ability. The clone can act as a substitute to take attacks instead of Deidara, and it can also trap and capture the enemy. When the enemy touches the clone, it reveals its true form and the clay becomes hard, immobilizing the enemy. If explosive clay is added to the clone, it can make itself explode, taking the enemy along with it.

Suicide Bombing Clone

Deidara has a clever technique where he creates a shadow clone and feeds it explosive clay. The clone then explodes, creating a distraction that helps him escape. By announcing a suicide bombing, it makes the enemy more cautious and gives Deidara the chance to switch places with the clone. The explosion is powerful enough to destroy a whole forest. This technique requires using verbal tricks effectively, and with Deidara's skills in manipulating the enemy, it serves its purpose well.

Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique (C)

This technique allows the user to transform the earth into fine sand using chakra. They can then dig through the sand like a mole, creating a tunnel large enough for a person to move through. Despite being underground, the user can sense their location by detecting magnetic forces and also monitor the surface to launch surprise attacks on the enemy. The technique can be used to hide deep in the ground, beyond the enemy's reach. After digging, the user can restore the ground to its original state, leaving no trace of their entry. When combined with clone techniques, the user can use a clone to deceive the enemy and launch a surprise attack from below.
