Kage: Third Kazekage

The Third Kazekage was the leader of Sunagakure, and is hailed as the village's strongest Kazekage of his time.

Background

Third Kazekage studied a person who had the power of Shukaku and copied their sand-controlling abilities by combining his own special chakra and iron powder. Sasori then kidnapped and killed the Third Kazekage to turn him into a puppet, but the village didn't know about it and searched for the missing Kazekage. Due to a war, they had to choose a new leader. Later, the Fifth Kazekage took over and the truth about the missing Kazekage was finally known. In the anime, Orochimaru wanted to learn all types of ninjutsu, so he took the Kazekage's DNA and used it to bring him back to life using a technique called Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation. Orochimaru made the revived Kazekage fight against Sasori's puppet. The Kazekage's power was stronger, and when Orochimaru called him a pawn, he became aware of himself again. He refused to be controlled and broke free from Orochimaru's technique, returning to the afterlife. This showed that the technique still had some problems.

Personality

In the anime, the Third Kazekage was brought back to life by Orochimaru. He appeared calm and emotionless, but he was angry at Sasori for killing him. He confidently declared that their fight would not end the same way. The Third Kazekage had a strong sense of pride and made it clear that he was not a pawn. He showed incredible willpower by breaking free from Orochimaru's control and stopping the technique that revived him.

Abilities

The Third Kazekage was a very strong ninja and considered the most powerful Kazekage in his time. Even Sasori, a member of the Akatsuki, struggled to defeat him. The Third Kazekage was also very intelligent and could understand the special abilities of the One-Tail. He even developed his own version of those powers, which he called Iron Sand.

The Third Kazekage had a special ability called Magnet Release, which allowed him to control magnetic forces using his chakra. By studying Shukaku's powers, he combined these magnetic forces with iron powder to create a unique technique called Iron Sand. With this technique, he could manipulate the sand into various weapons and objects for different situations. The Third Kazekage's control over magnetism also made him immune to metal weapons and could disable enemy puppets by clogging their joints with sand. This made his Iron Sand technique very versatile and feared by others in Sunagakure. In the anime, it was shown that even when Sasori controlled the Kazekage's corpse and powers through puppetry, the puppet's Magnet Release was weaker compared to the Third Kazekage's original strength. The ability to use Iron Sand led many to believe that he was the strongest Kazekage.
