Kisame's Jutsus in Naruto Series

Samehada

This unique blade inflicts damage by shredding or scraping rather than simply cutting, resembling the skin of a shark. It can stretch and bend, resembling a flail, and extend its scales into spikes. Samehada has a symbiotic relationship with its wielder, consuming their chakra while obtaining larger meals from opponents during fights. It can drain chakra and prevent opponents from using their techniques. Samehada can also transfer absorbed chakra to its wielder, revitalizing their energy and healing injuries. When fully fused with a wielder like Kisame, it grants shark-like abilities and enhances their offensive capabilities.

Earth Release: Subterranean Voyage (C)

This technique lets the user turn the earth into a liquid and swim underground, moving quickly towards the enemy. The enemy is caught off guard because they can't see underground, which gives the user a chance to surprise attack them. When the user combines this technique with a weapon called Samehada, the weapon can stick out of the ground like a shark's fin, making it even more effective in combat.

Silent Killing

This technique is called a silent way of killing someone, usually by approaching from behind with a knife. The name itself suggests that there is no sound made during the attack. Since the user moves quietly, the opponent cannot predict or protect themselves from the attack. The user often aims to cut the opponent's throat to prevent any noise that could reveal their presence. Some shinobi also use tricks like mist or frost to make it harder for their opponents to see and then launch their attack.

Summoning Technique (Shark)

The Summoning Technique allows users to bring a target to their location. To summon an animal, the user applies their blood to the hand that has the contract. They usually bite their finger and press their hand on the ground while channeling chakra to summon the animal. The amount of chakra determines the size and number of animals summoned.

Water Clone Technique (C)

It involves using water around the user to make copies of themselves. These water clones are different from regular clones because they are physically real and can interact with others. They can even use the same jutsu as the user. However, the strength of a water clone is only about one-tenth of the user's strength. When a water clone is damaged enough, it turns back into water.

Water Release: Four Sharks Rain

Kisame forcefully strikes his palm on a water surface, causing a massive wave to rise up. The water transforms into four sharks that swiftly charge towards the target from above. If the sharks are attacked and destroyed, they break apart into numerous tiny droplet-sized sharks that relentlessly shower the target, causing harm upon contact.

Water Release: Water Bullet Technique

It is a flexible Water Release jutsu that can be adapted in various ways. By gathering chakra in their stomach, the user can release a strong and forceful torrent of water towards their target. This technique can also be used by multiple users together, expanding its reach and impact.

Water Release: Five Feeding Sharks (B)

The user places their hand on water and releases chakra from their fingers, transforming the water into five fierce sharks. These sharks quickly surround the target, creating a forceful current that restricts their movements. The sharp teeth of the sharks continuously attack the enemy. In the anime, these sharks can regenerate using nearby water, making them hard to defeat.

Water Release: A Thousand Feeding Sharks (B)

This technique is an enhanced form of the Water Release: Five Feeding Sharks. The user generates a massive wave made of water and shapes it into a thousand sharks. These water sharks then rush down upon the opponent, launching a fierce and overwhelming attack.

Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave (B)

The user releases a large amount of water from their mouth, creating a powerful surge that engulfs and crushes the enemy. They can ride on this wave, moving swiftly and attacking the enemy who is swept off their feet. The volume of water produced depends on the amount of chakra used, and Kisame, with his vast chakra, can transform even a dry place into a small ocean. The leftover water can be utilized for other Water Release techniques.

Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave

This technique is an expanded form of the Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave. It involves the user ejecting an immense volume of water, creating a destructive tsunami that engulfs a wide area. The generated water can be utilized for additional techniques and can even be gathered to form a massive water prison, enabling Kisame to perform his Water Prison Shark Dance Technique.

Water Release: Water Shark Bullet Technique (B)

The user controls a mass of water using their hand. By pushing their hand in a specific direction, they can make the water move in that same direction. The water takes the form of a shark, with more water trailing behind as long as the user keeps their hand extended. Since the shark moves swiftly and carries a large amount of water, it causes significant damage when it collides with something. Users can even ride inside the water shark, allowing them to travel faster than their swimming speed.

Water Release: Great Shark Bullet Technique (A)

It is an upgraded form of the Water Release: Water Shark Bullet Technique. The user forms a massive shark using water and directs it towards the enemy by thrusting their hands forward. What sets this technique apart is its ability to absorb chakra from the opponent's jutsu, making the shark grow bigger and stronger. The more powerful the opponent's technique is, the more powerful this technique becomes.

Water Prison Technique (C)

This technique creates a sphere of water to trap a target. The water can be taken from the surroundings or expelled from the user's mouth. The water is heavy, making it hard for the trapped person to move and breathe properly. Usually, the trapped person can't escape on their own, but some skilled individuals have found ways to break free. To maintain the prison, the user needs to keep a part of their body in contact with the water.

Water Prison Shark Dance Technique (S)

After using the Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave, Kisame creates a huge prison made of water. He stands in the center of the water dome, and the dome moves along with his movements, making it hard for his target to escape as long as he keeps chasing them. When Kisame fuses with Samehada, he gains a big advantage. He can breathe underwater while his target struggles to escape from the water. This technique works well in one-on-one battles, but it might not be able to hold two enemies trying to run away in different directions.
